Speaking of retail, how increasingly digitalized retail is transforming the consumption scenario in Brazil, and the ABRE 2025 Congress will explore what the new dynamics and approaches are and their impacts on the links in the consumption and packaging chain.
Not only does it continue to be one of the great drivers of innovation in packaging, but it will strengthen in 2025 as a strategic topic following the approval of PPWR, the European regulation on packaging and packaging waste.

ABRE – Brazilian Packaging Association, founded in 1967, was born to be a reference and the connection between different links that make up the Brazilian packaging ecosystem. Just like the packaging, the Association has evolved over these 58 years and has followed the wishes and needs of consumers. On our work agenda are themes such as circular economy, sustainability, innovation, new business models, technology, digitization, education, among others. Through various actions, we present to our associates and the packaging and consumer goods chain the main economic, social and cultural movements promoting the dissemination of knowledge and the importance of packaging in modern society. Among our pillars are Transparency, Sustainability and Protagonism. This is how we open the doors to innovation and evolution in the Brazilian packaging ecosystem: encouraging our companies and professionals to play a leading role, fostering more sustainable business models and building transparent relationships.
